I’m proud to offer the Eudaimonia Psychology® Program – a short- term program combining traditional psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, positive psychology, energy work, and life coaching to help you learn to live in a state of calm and positivity.
If you haven’t heard of Eudaimonia before, there’s a good chance you’re wondering what it means!
The ancient Greek philosopher, Aristotle, created the word “eudaimonia” from the root word “daimon" – which means “power” or “true nature” or “spirit” – and “eu,” which means “good.”
Dr. Donna Dannenfelser founded Eudaimonia Psychology® with the goal of empowering people to live a joyful life, despite their circumstances. Through the practice of Eudaimonia Psychology® principles, you’ll be able to decide how you want to respond to life’s challenges and thrive as a result.
For many years, my clients would say to me, “I just want to be HAPPY.”
I’ve always struggled with this idea because, as humans, we are not meant to be happy all the time. Happy is an emotion, not a state of being. Instead, I have worked hard to help my clients find ways to feel at peace and calm in their lives, rather than perpetual happiness.
When I heard Dr. Donna speak about her Eudaimonia Program, I thought, “There it is! That is what I have been trying to teach people.”
Joining Dr. Donna and becoming a Eudaimonia Clinician was an easy decision because I felt so aligned with her purpose and program. The program itself is only five sessions– giving you practical tools so that you can live in a state of calm and positivity no matter what life throws your way!
Are you ready to begin your journey to Eudaimonia? Here’s what you’ll learn along the way!
Taking 100% responsibility for your life
Knowing that everything happens for you, not to you
Understanding there are no mistakes in life, only choices and consequences
Obstacles are nothing more than stepping stones
You live by intention rather than reaction
There are no rules except for the ones you place upon yourself
Letting go of all that is negative
Changing your thoughts will change you life
You are never too old to accomplish your dreams
You can accomplish anything when you stand in your power
“You are perfectly imperfect as God doesn’t make junk!”
