INDIVIDUAL therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, adhd & Authentic identity
Do you feel different or misunderstood? Can you imagine being fully yourself and loved for exactly who you are? Does your mind sometimes feel like both your greatest strength and your biggest challenge?
If these thoughts sound familiar, you are not alone, even if it feels that way right now. And I welcome you exactly as you are.
If you are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or embracing your identity as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, I can support you through individual therapy in Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Vermont, Illinois, and Washington.
My approach to therapy is non-judgmental. Wherever you are right now is where we’ll start, and together we’ll move toward your goals at your pace – and in the ways you want.
We’ll create a space where you can share your full story and feel truly heard, but I am also not a “quiet” therapist. All our sessions will be full, interactive conversations, where I share my thoughts and point out opportunities for growth and change.
I believe the most important part of therapy is helping you develop purpose, meaning, and authentic connections with yourself and with others.
As humans, we live our best lives when we engage in activities and work that feel meaningful to us – and when we work towards dreams and goals that provide purpose.
We are a social species, which means you need – and deserve – relationships where you can be fully yourself and can effectively communicate your needs and wants.
The personal is political, and we’ll never lose sight of that either.
Your experiences don’t exist in isolation– they’re woven into the fabric of your communities, your culture and the world around you. As we work together, we’ll explore what makes you uniquely you– your needs, identity and deepest hopes– while honoring how your life story fits into this bigger picture. We’ll gently uncover how your past experiences shape your present choices, understanding these patterns with compassion and creating the meaningful changes that you desire
I create a safe space where everyone can feel seen and heard, even if this isn’t something you can do yet in other areas of your life.
No matter what brings you to therapy, the core of our work together will be an exploration and acceptance of who you are right now.
There is no “right” way to work toward the change you want to see in your life, but I can help you find the path that’s best for you.

Whether you're looking for weekly support, twice-weekly check-ins during challenging times, or monthly maintenance sessions, we'll find a schedule that fits your life. And if a quick 30-minute session is what works best for you, we can do that too. Your therapy journey should work with your reality, not add stress to it.

I do not accept insurance, but I do offer superbills for out of network benefits! Please reach out to learn more about superbills and how you can use your insurance benefits to be reimbursed for care.

Confidentiality is central to the work we do together in therapy. You need to know that you can trust me enough to be vulnerable in our sessions. I will always protect your privacy, except in cases where disclosure is required by law.
Here are the few exceptions to confidentiality protections:
Suspected child abuse
Suspected dependant adult or elder abuse
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person
If a client intends to harm themself and these concerns are not able to be mitigated in session

I ask that you do your best to provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment, or you will be required to pay for the appointment. Regular sessions help you see the positive effects of the therapeutic process in your life!
However, I understand that life has a way of becoming stressful and complicated, so occasional exceptions can be made for emergencies.
